Mamas for Africa provides medical care to victims of sexual violence and women suffering from serious gynecological conditions such as uterine prolapse and fistulas. When necessary, they arrange hospital admissions to ensure these women receive the care they need.

In addition to medical assistance, Mamas for Africa also offers psychological support, essential for healing trauma. Many women are ostracized from their communities, making the organization often their only hope, especially in remote villages.

In South Kivu province, where access to hospitals is limited, Mamas for Africa has 11 reception centers. Here, nurses, psychologists, and psycho-social assistants care for women who are victims of sexual violence and gender inequality, helping them recover in a safe environment.
